MELT!

Melt! Festival in Germany crept onto the scene in 1997 as relatively small flashpoint for rave goers and techno enthusiasts. The raucous party vibe fest has since grown to be a major player in the international festival circuit. The organizers of Melt! strive to book left­of­center Indie and Dance acts to create a unique seamless fusion of electronic and rock music. The sounds and vibe of the fest break boundaries between quiet and loud and the physical energy gets better every year.

The festival is held at an open air museum of humungous excavation equipment, making the experience that much more surreal. Located adjacent to a big lake, festival-goers have the opportunity to cool off during the days before they head inside to get wild at night.
